Company History

1918 Founded as 'Hayashi Seisakusyo' in Motohasunuma, Itabashi-ku by Masao Hayashi and commenced to manufacture confectionary machinery.

1929 Established a new factory in the present location and changed the name to ‘Hayashi Chukousyo’. Manufactured a machine for sweet roasted chestnuts and enjoyed a good reputation.
Manufactured first domestic-made cake mixer.

1949 Converted to a stock company and changed the name to ‘Kanto Kongoki Industrial Co., Ltd.’ aiming to become a specialized maker of mixers.

1963 Opened Sendai branch.

1966 Developed and launched a whipping mixer (SM series).

1967 CEO Masao Hayashi received the (blue ribbon) medal of honor.

1968 Developed and launched a specialized mixer for European bread (FM series).

1970 Opened Osaka branch.

1975 The founder, Masao Hayashi passed away and Takashi Hayashi became the CEO.

1979 Developed and launched SS series mixer.

1983 Developed and launched HP series mixer to meet safety and hygiene requirements.

1988 Developed and launched a high vacuum mixer. (Received technology upgrade program fund from MITI) 

1991 Became a business partner of Sancassiano, Italy. Commenced importing and selling spiral mixers.

1994 Model changed CS・SS series to HM series in accordance with PL law. Launched HM series with a safety guard as standard.

1995 Became a business partner of VMI, France. Increased lineup of spiral mixers. Became a business partner of Grandi, Italy. Commenced importing and selling automatic counting machines.

1998 Opened Nagoya branch.

1999 Became a business partner of Unifiller, Canada. Commenced importing and selling depositors / transfer pumps. Developed and launched head elevation employed stainless steel vertical mixer as KTM series.
Opened Fukuoka branch and Utsunomiya office.

2000 Integrated HM series and HP series and launched new HP series to adopt HACCP. Covered mixing zone with stainless steel as standard.

2001 Co-developed the world's first cooled bowl attached spiral mixer.

2002 Developed and launched head elevation employed stainless steel vertical mixer with double axles for whipping as KDM series.

2003 Developed and launched highly hygienic mixer as KFM series.

2004 Opened Sapporo branch.
Commenced implementing risk assessment.
Replaced HP series with inverter equipped mixer as HPi series.

2007 KFM series mixer was approved by BISSC sanitary standard.

2008 Commenced development of Japan’s first spiral mixer.

2009 CEO Takashi Hayashi received the (blue ribbon) medal of honor.
Celebrated the 60th anniversary of ‘Kanto Kongoki Industrial Co., Ltd.’
Became a member of EHEDG (European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group).
